zanussi wzd 12270w not starting

Hi i have a Zanussi zwd12270w (91460400000) which when put onto any program it pumps for 5 seconds and then flashes the start button as if it is paused but when you press the button it doesn’t respond. I have checked all the obvious things water valves, heater, motor, pump but everything seems fine. Is there a test mode on these machines like the older ones where i can trace the problem to a component? thanks steve

dryer element going to earth…….disconnect wires….and try.. 💡
