Zanussi ZBF360 oven door handle

I have received from Zanussi replacement door handle plus 2 fixing screws (plastic). The fixing holes at either end of the door handle do not appear to be threaded. It seems unlikely to me that the plastic screws would be able to cut a thread in the hard door handle(i.e. act as self-tapping screws)
Am I missing something? Any information please

PS I note that some earlier models are fitted with metal screws but in this case it would not be possible since the pastic screws have a larger unthreaded diameter, beneath the head, than the threaded section to act as a guide.

Door handle part number 3554052021 and the fixing screws 3543232015. Could be worth checking first of all your packaging to make sure you have the correct parts.

door handle part number 3554052021 and fixing screws 3543232015 are correctly listed on the zanussi despatch note. The part number advised for the glass pannel is 3578469938. All part numbers correctly checked against received items.
