Zanussi ZCE7700X double oven

Hi All,

i was wondering if someone can provide some help regarding the faliure of my main oven. As of yesterday my fan oven has stopped heating up, the fan is working and the overlight is also working but the red illumination light on the panel for the main oven is not, how can i find out if it is the element or the thermostat,

Hi

The most likely fault given the fan motor is running is going to be the fan element. Given the fan element motor is running this rules out the thermostat.

Hi Bryan sorry to judge your expertise, but I have been told Google and the spare parts mans on the phone) that if the fan spins, the oven light comes on but the illumination light on my display does not light up its more likely that it is the Thermostat and if the illumination light is on and the fan and oven light is on it’s the element, forgive me if I sound like I am judging your expertise, as I just don’t want to waste time changing the wrong part, as the element is a lot easier to change as to the Thermostat

so am i right in saying if the fan is spinning its more likely its the element?
