Zanussi ZCE7700X – main oven door catch dropped off

The main oven door catch has fallen out. The bits I have are a thin spindle shaped bit of metal, threaded at one end with a small nut about half way down. Also associated with it are a couple of washers and a oblong flat bit metal with a threaded (I think) hole that matches the thread of the spindle shaped bit of metal.
I can’t figure out if there are any other bits missing that might have dropped inside somewhere or if what I already have can be reassembled somehow.
Any pointers?
Just to make things worse, in trying to fix the door catch I managed to remove the facing plate that holds the door seal, it had five screws with washers, two each on the vertical sides and one on the bottom.
When i removed the plate a small angled bit of metal with a retaining washer thing dropped out that looks like it should go behind the bottom screw hole 😥 – I can’t work out which way round this should go.
Any (helpful) ideas?
