Zanussi ZCFF7/5W Fridge freezer which I have been extremely happy with for over two years. Last year the fridge would not go cold and the freezer was iced up.
I had Service Force come and take a look at it because it was full up, who said the evaporator was blocked with ice.

After defrosting the evaporator with a heat gun, he replaced the sensors: part cost £12.39. The Labour was £64 and a total price of £90 inc VAT.
£90 I felt was a lot of money, but I had an expert fix my fridge / freezer and guessed it would be good for years to come. Unfortunately it didn’t completely cure all the faults. The FF worked OK and the fridge was cold again, but the bottom of the fridge (veg box) would freeze anything that went into it, also anything that is pushed too far back on the shelves at any height would freeze, whether the fridge was full or nearly empty. I messed about with a thermometer in the fridge for days to keep it cold but not freezing. Even though the spare parts are guaranteed for 1 year, I have been too scared to call the engineer back to have another look, just in case it is something else, which he replaces and charges me another £64 labour +. I wasn’t given the T+C’s so I don’t know where I stand. Should he not have tested & fixed everything that may have been wrong?

Anyway the FF hasn’t fixed itself and still freezes everything at the bottom and back, I keep all food towards the front and very soon my one year guarantee will be up!
Any suggestions on what I can do? I cannot afford to pay £90 again. I have been looking & learning about FF’s on the web, but I can’t identify what’s wrong yet.
I did notice tonight the bottom back part of the fridge is very warm / hot and so is the central part where the two doors meet and close onto.

Can any one make any suggestions to where I can start learning about what is wrong with it?
    Many thanks!
