Zanussi ZCI66250BA resetting

Back in March I had problems with this cooker switching the grill off, never sorted it but to be honest we learned to work around it.

Now I have a bigger issue, the induction hob appears to be resetting itself. After a little while using it the hob will switch off, all of the LED’s on the control panel will illuminate temporarily (like a self test), then it will display 2 in the top left display segment and 20 in the timer above it, after a few seconds these disappear at which point you can turn the hobs off and on again. We ‘think’ that just before it goes the induction hum gets a little louder.

I will probably sort a fixed price call from Zanussi service but I was wondering if anyone could shed light on what might be causing it so that I make sure they fix the right thing.

Last time I buy Zanussi without a 5yr warranty….

AD converter on illumination electronics is defect
