    Hi all,
    First post….
We have a zanussi tumble dryer, model details above, and it has just completely died. It won’t turn on at all, no lights or anything.
It is only just over a year old. I have checked the fuse in the plug and that is fine. There haven’t been any odd noises or problems prior to it dying and it is in a well ventilated position, reservoir emptied each cycle, filters cleaned each cycle, condenser cleaned regularly etc.
Any ideas, hints or tips much appreciated!

But have you tried the wall socket or plugged it in elsewhere?

    P.C.B required

Thanks for the info, yep I’ve tried a different socket and checked the original socket too.

PCB…. Is that easy to do, costly etc?

    Cheers

Costing from £100 to £140 for part depending on which product you have, fitting it depends on how competant you are. Its a straight swap over.
You need to have PNC off your own appliance to determine which P.C.B is required for your product..

Thanks Seamy, from memory it only cost about £200 new so might be better off just getting a new one and having a refreshed warranty?

Contact the manufacturers first, explain the product is just over a year old, ask if they will repair it under warranty as its failed completely just out of guarantee. Don’t tell them you’ve opened it or checked anything as warranty will be voided.
