Zanussi zdc37200 dies after 4 min

Hi, dryer runs clockwise ok for about4 mins. ( does heat up) stops,goes anti clock for a few turns stops,then won’t go clockwise again 😯 just sits there ❗ leave it like that and the tank light comes on…if I knock it off and start again it does the same!, any ideas ❓ Thanks

NTC at the front would be the first thing to check. Have you tried diagnostics to find out last error code recorded?

Hi martin, don’t know how to enter diagnostics!! Got no info on these at all. My thought was maybe reversing timer? Don’t even know if it’s got one,or is it all controlled by pcb?

Don’t think theres a reversing timer in this one, its a board controlled jobby.
They will normally run, heating for a few minutes then if the float switch is made they will knock off.
Check the float switch contacts as theres been an issue with them being problematic, also the NTC as mentioned before.
