    Guys,

    Been to the above drier today, one of the thermostats on the heater element has blown. I realise that these are a complete unit, however is there anyway of just replacing the faulty thermostat, it seems a bit of a con to be honest when the element itself (and other thermostat) is fine.

    It looks like the thermostats are riveted to the element assembly. If you could remove the rivets you could use a small nut and bolt or self tapper instead. If you can find the thermostat rating…

    Thanks Mr Phil,

    Customer can’t wait so new element it is, might try and persuade him to repair the original and keep as a spare though!
