Zanussi ZDF121_WH door won’t close

Can’t see how the catch is supposed to work, there doesn’t appear to be any handle to move ( unless it’s stuck! ). this is the dishwasher for our office which is operated by the cleaner overnight in case you’re wondering why I’m unfamiliar with the door………

Door will push up all the way but doesn’t latch, if you turn it to a program both red lights come on.

The door panel will need taking apart to access the latch/switch mechanism for inspection I expect. Probably something has broken there?

Rang Zanussi as it turns out to be less than a yr old, all was going well till I gave them our address, there is no guarantee as it’s being used commercially, we are a software company not a cafe…….. they wouldn’t back down and say we have to pay for the repair. Should the seller have told us this at the point of sale ?

Any good engineers in Manchester area then ?

It’s in the small print of the guarantee paperwork 😉
