Zanussi ZDF221S Dishwasher Fill, heat, drain cycle.

Hi,

I have come across a Zanussi Dishwasher that the customer reported that it goes through the wash then starts again.

On testing it appears to fill, heat then drain then continues this cycle until the machine is stopped.
during this cycle the detergent dispenser does not open.

There are no earth faults on this machine.

does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

Check the tube to pressure switch, if loaded with gunge it might not be resetting when emptying, other than that warped float causing pump to run as if base was flooded. This is common complaint of them running continuously.

Pressure switch tube was clear.

I wasn’t aware of the problem with the float switch, I will check that out.
