ParticipantHi all
I have the above dishwasher that has never faulted in the last 11yrs until the last 2 weeks. I have researched and looked inside to see any issues, for which, I can’t find and would really appreciate some wise words.
The symptoms are unique to different cycles and don’t show the same characteristics to diagnose one fault apart from what I believe to be a control board issue.
I place the dishwasher on a quick wash and fills, heats and drains ok as it should but when it reaches 0 time left the drain stays on. This is not every wash as sometimes it doesn’t do it but the majority of the time it does.
When I put the dishwasher on an intense full wash fills, heats and drains no problems but when it gets to 28mins remaining, every time, error code .10 comes up on the LED. Turn the dishwasher off and on and it goes back to the 28 mins remaining and ends no problem.
Looking at the error code this would indicate a fill issue but I have tested the inlet valve and checked all hoses etc and all fine. Also it fills twice before that error comes up and works on other cycles which would suggest its not the valve.
Any suggestions as to what the issue is?
Many thanks in advance, much appreciated your time given to help folk like myself.
Regards

all error 10 means is it does not detect the water in a given time
that means if it not the valve it could be a
pressure sensor faulty
clogged pressure sensor ( where the air is trapped to feed it )
the main board not processing the signal properly

Thanks Dave
Is the pressure sensor one of the two brown flat disc type thingy’s with hoses attached at the side of the machine? Is there a way to unclog it?
Cheers

where the hose connect to the sump is most likely if it has a blockage. remove the tube and check for crud. if its blocked. there are 2 chambers moulded into the sump and these can fill with fat etc. you can try and poke things into it to dislodge or find a longer bit of hose. put a pan of water in the sump and suck and blow water in and out of the bell to dislodge any rubbish. dry all water out before re connecting to switch
and goes without saying plug out of mains socket

Thanks again.
I will take a look tomorrow. Getting good at dismantling it now but will have to do it in the garden as OH is having OCD overload with water etc from the dishwasher each time I look at it. Think she’s after a new one lol
Always unplug before even unscrewing a screw but thanks for the safety tip as there are people out there.

Update…
I removed all the hoses and pipes from the sump and did what you said that water etc. I also blew through the sensor pipes and one seemed blocked. I blew harder and it seemed to unblock it. Put it all back together and works!
There used to be a rotten egg smell coming from the water which has also gone.
Thank you so much for your advice I wouldn’t have taken on the challenge without it.
I have one unhappy partner who wanted a new one hahaha
