Hi all im trying to find the right thermostat for the main oven. Its a 944171117 ,the original stat number is 47thc9/f8 ,ordered a et51 stat which they say is the replacment part but the wiring is compleatly different to what it says on the tecnical bullitin sheet. Also main oven door hinges need replacing are they handed or will they fitt either side?.Thanks.

No the hinges are not handed and have 2 listed – 3114227006 up to ser no. 117 & 3115676011 from ser 118.
The wiring info for the stat is confusing but if you connect the input from the timer to “A”, The Element+Neon to “B” And Fan to “C” on the replacement stat you shouldn’t have any problems

Thanks for the info ,but even after that i will still have wires left over as there is i think 6 wires going to the original stat .

Looks like you may have the wrong stat, part number looks like should be 3110945007 – ET52001/F8 for sn up to 117 – pm your email if you req drawings
