    Hi all

I’ve had a zanussi ZDP7205PZ condenser dryer since December 2016.

At the end of every cycle an acoustic chime places, which I mute by holding the Program Button and the Heat button together. This keeps the drum moving without heat until I can empty it. The chime then the enables for the next cycle without any input.

Within the last week this chime has stopped working. I’ve emptied the lint dryer, cleaned the condenser and emptied the water tank. The dryer still behaves the same and goes to a non heat spin until I turn it off, but the chime does not sound.

It still makes an audible chime sound when turning on and off, but apart from that nothing.

Can anyone lend a hand ? Is there a sensor I should clean or something ?

    Thanks in advance !

You can switch on the acoustic signal, by pressing button 1&2 together (from right of on/off button).
    2 beeps confirms its deactivated.
When appliance finishes for any reason, eg, time finished, water full, etc, it would play an acoustic for 2 minutes if door is not opened or on/off button used.
The movement of drum you describe is anti-crease action after the drying cycle is finished & again until door opened or its switched off.
It should explain this in the User Manual..
