Zanussi ZDT12011FA anti-flood device activated.
How do I reset and clear this alarm?
The bottom of the machine doesn’t look “flooded” to be honest it’s actually empty!
Is it signalling the correct error?

Hi,
My Zanussi ZDT12011FA is not heating the water and i have been told the heating element cost £189 but just wondering if the the thermostat can cause the water not to heat?The anti flood came on last night but i removed the metal panel at the bottom and drained water that was causing the sensor to trip. It was quite easy and i didnt need to remove the dishwasher from the unit. i removed the kick plate and the metal panel at the bottom. using a sponge i drained the excess water and it reset the anti flood sensor.
The machine still does not heat the water though. Its only 16 months old and only had 1yr warrenty as it is a new build home the machine was already insitu.
Any ideas guys hoping it the thermostat as i could replace that myself.
