ParticipantHi hope someone can help me
Part way through 70degree cycle – fault indication started 3 flashes and 3 bleeps – left alone for an hour – hoping that the problem would resolve itself – it did not
Dishes were washed – not rinsed – cabinet was hot ( normal hot)- pump was on and remained on. There was no water in the bottom of the machine Pressing buttons in various combinations and for various times had no effect. Switched off at wall socket
Tried switching back on – the pump restarted – I left it on for 3 minutes before switching off again at the socket.
I would be gratefull for some help on this
– Which part needs to be replaced
– Is a repair that a moderately competant retired engineer could undertake
Please advise
Many ThanksFebruary 8, 2016 at 1:21 pm #435178bazza500

Sounds like you have a leak which has flooded the base. Tip the dishwasher slightly to the side and see if any water runs out.

Hi
Thanks for the reply
Alas
Integrated machine so have not tipped to the side
No water under machine – no sign of a leak
I poured a kettle full of water into the m/c and ( with the mains switch on the pump came back on ) it all pumped away easilyFebruary 8, 2016 at 2:05 pm #435180bazza500

The water will not leak out of the machine it will stay in the base so you wont see it without taking panels off. Did all the water pump away or did some of it leak into the base? That is the question.

Hello please help
Dish washer has sat unrepaired since first post – sorry for not progressing – family issues took priority
I now have time to persue
Have not tried the pressure sensor kit – but will do if the following recent test/experience still shows that it will be required
Have now run washer again – initially water was taken into the machine and it appeared to be working normally- (hot water splashing around)
Then – it stopped – end indicator flashing
Then – without intervention it restarted (wash light flahing) ran for a while, stopped and the end light and audible signal sounding 5 times pause 5 times continually
Tried tipping machine over to about 45 degrees – no water appearedAfter 10 mins I restarted the machine
Now no water is being taken in to the machine and after running thro part of an Eco cycle it stopped with the end indicator /audible signal sounding twice intermitantley
Also tried on 70 deg wash – same result -ie no water 2 intermitant beeps/flashes of end indicator
I hope this means something to you
Your help would be gratefully appreciated -
