This dishwasher is fitted with a heater that incorporates an overheat cut out.
Once the cut out has activated the heater has to be replaced.
The cutout is a blob of solder which melts when hot! It`s a crap design.
I`ve fitted 2 of these new heaters to other dishwashers & they have failed again shortly afterwards.
Is there a thermostat which could be failing elsewhere, causing an overheat condition?
There`s a sump pressure sensor on this machine also.
    Any ideas please?

its probably down to flow. if pump is weak or the jets are blocked the water will stay too long in the heater. On some bosch machines I have heard the diverter valve failure can also cause the heater to blow

    NO
as you would need to know the melting point of the solder they have used

Thanks Dave. Makes sense if the flow is slower. The circulation pumps are cheap & nasty too!
