    continuity across heater element.
continuity across pressure switch in heater circuit, when machine filled.
continuity from c board to pressure switch, and from on/off switch, direct to heater.
mains voltage from p switch to earth, but zero volts between p switch and on/off switch. This is where I’m confused, as I’d expect mains volts on the on/off switch side, and zero volts from the c board side.
No heat last few times it’s been used, and the last time it was used, customer found it without power. She apparently switched the wall isolater off and on, and got power back. I’m thinking dodgy power switch here, but checked out ok when I tested it, and it still doesn’t explain the voltage readings conundrum. Help gratefully received.

If you let me have your email address I’ll send you the circuit diagram. The pnc would be useful as there are three version of this model.

    Hi Geoff,

    Circuit diagram would be great.

customer has now advised me of an error code that appears to be intermittent – ’20’ in the display, and first two lights (row of four) solid.

    my email: drekfrek@hotmail.com

Thanks very much for your help.

    Hi Geoff,

The circuit diagram was a great help, and I’ve traced the fault to a burned out heater relay. Looks like I’ll have to get QER to repair it. The relay looks like it would cost a few pence but seems to be unavailable from any relay suppliers except in batches of thousands.

    Regards, Derek
