    Hi there..

I’ve a relatively new Zanussi ZDT 5052 which isn’t working. The ProblemLog would go something like this:

Power light (green) on / salt light (red) on

Programme button marked Normal/65 degree illuminated (green) and unresponsive (pushing other buttons has no effect. Switching on/off/powering down at mains .. has no effect. The Normal/65 button remains illuminated and the dishwasher inactive.

I happened to turn off the mains water supply to the washer (to do with another issue) and the Normal/65 degree light went out. But now none of the programme buttons are responding to my pushing them.

I’ve seen this problem mentioned on the web for this model so am hoping there’s a fix available.

Any ideas? Need any other info?

    Thanks in advance..

    Ian

It may be hung up in the programme amd the power break has thrown the pcb. Press and hold the relevant programme button and it may cancel. Beyond that, it rather sounds like the pcb has thrown a wobbly.

Thanks Penguin, note that it was the mains water I knocked off – which resulted in the programme light going out – not the mains elec. Would this alter anything in your view? ➡
