Zanussi zdt6244 integrated dishwasher

Hi all,I have the above dishwasher and when its turned on it dose nothing at all.Power to machine is ok as is the door switch.The p c b had a damaged relay so I replaced this,I cant see any other obvious signs of damaged on the board.The pump and inlet valve are also ok.Anyone any ideas what might be the problem.Thanks crockett .

A bit of a long shot and I know that it sounds daft but does it have any rinse aid in it? I had a Zanussi dishwasher (different model) which I replaced the main pump on that then wouldn’t do anything – turned out that even though the rinse aid light had been on for a couple of months before it must have an internal counter which had hit zero at the same time as I changed the pump so it refused to do anything till I had topped up the rinse aid.

Care should be taken relative to the position of connector “A1” – “A2”: if this connector is

replaced in the incorrect position (back-to-front), the appliance will not function. The board will

not accept any commands since the power supply will be disconnected

Its easy on these to reverse the connections A1 – A2 and have done this on a couple. definitely worth checking and the good news is it would not have damage the board if you have.

Thanks Colin,I’ve checked that and I have power to the board. The programme light comes on and changes to any required one but there just isn’t a gig out of the machine not even a noise ,thanks again, regards Ben.
