Hi I have a blown resistor on above m/c module but I cant make out the colour bands to tell me what size resistor it is. Its green and about 6mm in diameter and about 15mm long . The prod. no. is 911935016/01. Anyone know what size resistor this is?
Hi , was it just a blown resistor you found or did you find anything else gone ? I’d be very surprised if it was just a resistor that had gone on it’s own.
Hi Tom: Before you find out about the resistor, you really need to look for what caused it to burn out. Unless it was underated from manufacture (Unlikely) there has to be a cause & just replacing the resistor is unlikely to cure it.
Hi Tom: Did you actually check any of the components on the PCB? what does the resistor feed? before replacing the resistor I would be thoroughly checking to see what fried it. Is the resistor actually open circuit?, if a resistor is running close to it’s limits they can often look overheated but still be ok.
