Zanussi ZDT6252 dishwasher

Two months ago I replaced the motor on this machine as the fins on the draining impellor had worn away, I used a PMP9004 from connect as a replacement. Now it’s not draining again and I find that the fins on the draining impellor are worn away again. Anyone got any idea why this should happen in such a short time ? Thanks.

You should be able to replace the impellor’s separately they come as a kit obtainable from Connect.
Sorry don’t have the part no. to hand.

Some foreign matter in the dishwasher is probably what is causing the fins to fail, make sure there are no bits of glass or bone in the pump housing.

I’ll fit the impellor kit and check for foriegn objects then see how it goes.
