Zanussi ZDT6252 is this just a valve ?

When you set this on a programme pump runs then there is buzzing I’m guessing from the valve then intermittent bursts of pump. All the time no water is filling. I’ve checked the water supply and it seems fine, no kinks in fill hose etc.
This may be an obvious fault but I’m a novice on dishwashers and just looking for some confirmation as I havent been able to get the M/c out.

buzzing could be the circulation pump motor sticking, on startup it runs pump, then fills, then circulate

Thanks Seamy, M/c does not fill so I thought more likely just a valve.
I’ve been told it’s got some sort of anti flood protection buit into the valve if that has any bearing on it ?

Diaphragm on inlet valve, if it’s owt like the old tricity bendix/ zanu m/c’s Try (gently) twatting it with a screwdriver handle. More correctly, remove air pipe from diaphragm and establish why it’s activated in the first place (may not be a reason.)
