Hi.
Forgive me if I don’t explain this well – no experience whatsoever in appliance repairs but keen to try and solve this one myself if I can.
I have a Zanussi ZENB2625S Fridge freezer that appears to have stopped working but, I’ve no idea why. It was bought in July 2007 so is outside the normal warranty period.
The freezer is working perfectly but, the fridge has stopped working and almost appears warm to the touch.
Problems began a couple of weeks ago when I noticed things weren’t as cool as they normally are. I turned the switches up, which subsequently froze everything. I then turned the switches back to where they had been previously. This worked ok for a week or so but, after that the fridge has noticeably stopped altogether. Moving either of the switches makes no difference whatsoever. The green light is flashing permanently.
I’ve checked inside the freezer and completely emptied the fridge and can’t find any ice on the vents at all.
Any ideas as to what is likely wrong and what I could do?
Thanks all!
