Hi all, new on here so be patient with me.
My FF as developed the following problem. The fridge part is the first to notice that it is loosing its temp, and then about a week later the freezer looses its temp and things begin to defrost. I have removed the cover in the freezer part at the back and all the pipes and fins where iced up. After allow this to defrost with the help of an hair dryer all was well again. After about 3-4 weeks I am back with the same problem again.
My question is, could this be to the defrost timer not working properly. It does seem to be working because I have marked it to check it is turning.
OR could it be the defrost heater, if so how would you check it or reconise it, I presume a Ohms test would solve this if I knew what I was looking for,
OR could there be anything else causing this problem.
    Cheers for any info given.

Either the defrst heater, the drain heater or the thermal fuse I would imagine, all need checking for continuity wity a meter.

Power off please when checking :zap: or if you’re unsure, please check the repairs@ link below 🙂

    Dave.
