    Hi,

    I have a Zanussi ZF 56/46 fridge freezer PNC number 822020249.
    This morning I found that the freezer section had defrosted overnight but the fridge was ok. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and also checked the fuses which were fine.

    It seems to be ok now but the red light is on constantly. Can anyone give me any advice on what it may be?

    Twin compressor fridge/freezer – I would assume that the freezer compressor is not running.

    Each section has its own thermostat, so that may be at fault, the start device on the compressor may be at fault, or the compressor itself may have failed.

    Power off if you plan to investigate.
