Zanussi ZG1120M Cuts out, display goes blank.

I have been looking a the above machine for a customer.
She complains when the machine is put on a wash, before it completes the cycle the machine stops and the display goes blank.
This is an intermittent fault and according to the user is more likely to occur on a 60deg wash rather than a 40deg wash.
The customer also think that the control panel below the dial gets quite warm!
I have checked the machine for earth faults and checked the resistance of the motor and element.
I thought this is a likley PCB fault so sent the board to EMW who have returned it ‘no fault found’.

Has anyone else come across the problem where these machines cut out and have any other suggestions what I can try?

Have had many problems with the p.c.bs, would look for loom damage around the appliance, try appliance on test & if there is supply to P.C.B & it goes blank, more than likely its a board problem. Anything is likely with them , i’ve had one which popped up in Chinese writing on the P.C.B which I had to change for the customer, there is’nt a language option on them as far as i’m aware to set specific text.

I checked supply and for loom damage. Tightened connections to PCB.
Asked customer to plug into different socket.
Everything came back to a board fault which is why I sent to EMW. Now I don’t know if to suspect a PCB fault that EMW couldn’t find or something else?
