    The element for the main fan oven has gone (split along coil) and though I’ve replaced it the oven still isn’t working.

    I’ve replaced the element before but this time the temperature indicator light has been out since the element went unlike previously when it lit even before replacing the element though obviously the oven didn’t heat up till the element was replaced so slightly different senario this time.

    Seems like this suggests there has been a knock on effect somewhere. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I might look for or should I bite the bullet and get someone in to have a look.

    Is the clock set in manual? May need to be, it normally defaults to auto when you switch on power, you need to press function button to select manual for oven to work.
