    I have an in-built Zanussi ZJD-1219 that has started making a grumbling noise throughout the cycle regardless of whether the drum is turning or not. The only thing I have tried so far is to clean the fluff filter but this has had no effect.

    Can anyone provide any suggestions as to what the cause may be and whether its fixable? I’ve no idea how old the washer/dryer is as it was already here when I moved in.

    Recirculation pump wearing or blocked – is it spraying from the top of the door seal?

    Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been out of the country. Its not spraying at all. Just the continuous noise during most of the cycle. Is it easy to fix or would I be best calling someone out?

    If its not spraying at all its probably got a foreign object obstructing the spray pump, hence the noise. They are actually quite awkward to get to as you have to split the cabinet in half so I would advise calling out your local service man who could clear or replace the pump cheaper than service force.(the manufacturers)
