Zanussi ZJD1219 – bearing replacement

I am about to embark on adventure to change the bearings and spider on my Zanussi washing machine. I would appreciate any tips.

If anyone has a component breakdown pictorial, possibly from Zanussi parts book or pdf it would be appreciated.

I believe these washer dryers are more difficult to do than your standard washing machine.

Many thanks for your help, much appreciated. Nothing vetured nothing gained!

I will attempt to work on next week once I get the spider assembly. Just hope I don’t need new belt, door seal etc….

If removing any wiring, make sure you make a note beforehand of exactly where it all goes including colours. It can save a lot of heartache when trying to put things back together.

PLEASE REMEMBER: POWER OFF & PLUG OUT before delving in, getting :zap: can seriously ruin your day.
