    Good afternoon,

The above washer/dryer has an obscure fault in that it takes around ten seconds for the display to power up/show digits from selecting a programme.

On other occasions it will not power up at all, and the customer switches it off at the socket, and leaves it for an hour or two, and then it will do the same as above, or not power up.

I’ve had a good look at the wiring harness from the supressor to the main board, and Ohms resistance tested the cables as best as possible.

I decided the fault must lie with the main board, so renewed it, along with the mains suppressor, which I noticed had a crack in it’s casing and may have been breaking down intermittently.

However, as the fault remains, any assistance would be welcome!

Did you insulation test the dryer & wash heater? As always low insulation can cause display issues…
