    Hi Guys, above washer dryer stopped mid program with no display. Have removed consul module and found a resistor at R93 on board has broken up. No signs of overheating just the outer shell with the colour bands have peeled off and are not very clear. Looks like a Gold, black, then ? Does anyone know the resistance value of this resistor so I can maybe replace it?
    Board is a EWM1200 it has a serial no. M3521104788 Electrolux code 132754421.
    Any help much appreciated.

    Had one of these 2 weeks ago, same resistor blown, it’s connected to the door lock.
    Changed PCB & lock, all good.
    (expensive though but customer was happy )

    Hi Clive, did you not try a repair of the board by changing the resistor?

    not really , was concerned about other unseen damage caused to board, had this happen before on a lux, went to the trouble of sourcing a resistor, went back to job & fitted it – only to find it didn’t work. – so I don’t repair boards anymore , i just change ’em- less hassle!
