Zanussi ZOB140X – Electric Grill not working

Hi,

The grill on our oven has recently stopped working. When the grill is selected and any heat setting is selected, no heat is being supplied to the electric grill.

Initially I thought that this may be due to a faulty grill element, but when the oven is selected then the element heats up?

Would be grateful for any ideas on what may be causing this as keen to get a replacement part and fix it if possible.

Your top element may work when selected to be used as an oven as it is possible it has four terminals. The outer edge will heat up for oven use (the square looking element), yet when grill is selected the inner element should heat up if this is not happening change the element ensuring mains to the oven is OFF

Or……isolate from the mains and actually test the element with a megger or suitable multimeter before ordering any parts first.

Posting the full model Pnc number would be a help as well. 😉
