Zanussi ZOP37962 oven temp. resetting

Above zanussi oven has electronic temp.selection as apposed to thermostat.Temp. appears to reset to 150c (default) partway through cooking program.Found low earth resistance on base element when hot so disconnected temporarily but fault still persists.
May guess it is one of the two boards but which one ?There is a power board on top of the oven but i’m leaning towards control module on fascia ?

it is a toss up on this one
both board contain software
have you had a look at the power board caps to look for bulging ones. dirty power supply could cause the chips to crash

any fault codes coming up?

have looked at tech but does not seem to have any test procedures etc. but if you would like it let me know

Nothing obvious on the board, and no fault codes, just intermittantly goes back to default temperature without interupting cooking.

if I had to take a guess, as long as the power supply looks ok then I would assume all the setting software would be in the display board which makes it more likely but far from certain

That was my thinking but the customer has decided she doesn’t want to spend on it so we will never know.
