Hi, I am a newbie and have issues! (with my dishwasher…)
My Zanussi ZSF 6152 dishwasher has an error code where the green program light flashes continuously and for every 11 flashes, the red “End” light flashes once. According to the manual, this means that it is not filling with water, however I know that it is filling as I can hear and see the reservoir fill up if I remove the left hand panel.
The dishwasher seems to fill up and then there is a buzzing noise before it seems to drain again and the error kicks in.I replaced the solenoid with an old one I had from a scrapped washing machine (just slid this off the plastic valve housing and fitted the replacement) and this made it work last night. I thought maybe the old one had an intermittent fault (although the solenoid resistance was ok) and that it was fixed… Except it hasn’t worked for the last two nights and I have tried multiple times. I have checked the anti-flood switch which seems to be ok (and this should give a different error – 3 red flashes, according to the manual).
I have searched the internet and these forums but I haven’t had any joy!
Please help as 2 nights of washing up by hand is enough!!
