    went to this dw- no heat . checked module ,burnt track on heat relay found and repaired. nice easy one , (or so i thought ) tested machine , now nothing doing. 5 volt to module but no display from module, checked ribbons for connection all seem ok. what have i done ? machine was working/ just no heat . is it possible to corrupt a board by repairing a dry joint. done many of these with no problem-
    just wonder’d if this rings any bells???

    Hiya,
    If it’s totally dead, check you’ve put the power plug in the right way round on the pcb. (I’ve not looked this one up so guessing).

    The orange and blue connector will fit either way…….. been there, done that. Twice. :rolls:

    hi guys
    went back this am to double check- youre right , i reversed the connector as you both said!! sometimes you cant see the bleedin obvious, even when it stares you in the face. DOH!!
