There has been a long thread on this subject before, centring around dodgy solder joints to the heater relay (“in-line heater test?”).
For some time our washer has been heating intermittently; having read the thread and tested the heating element I looked at the pcb, expecting to see a dry joint under the heater relay. Nothing. However the connector in the 2 pix was charred on one side, as you see. I put everything back together and the washer worked perfectly for a few weeks. When the heater failed I did it again, and again and again, with perfectly satisfactory results. However the length of times between fixes is diminishing, so I feel I should do something before the situation becomes terminal. .Any suggestions please?
