    Hi All,

We have a Slimline Zanussi ZT-485 which hasn’t really cut the mustard since we bought our new house and it came fitted (there is absolutely no room for a full size one!!)

Even with a small load on and even from new it leaves residue on the plates (usually near the top)

We have tried, powders, gels, and tablets. We always keep the salt topped up, rinse aid too.

    Questions are:

    1. Do you think the problems could be caused by having dinner plates that are too big and hence stopping the blades from spinning?

    2. Were can I obtain a replacement filter from (I think its called the central filter, its the one the you can remove and comes with a central hollow core)

    3. Can I raise the top basket

    4. Can someone suggest a better built in slimline that actually cleans our dishes?

    5. are slimline dishwashers easy to remove and fit? anyone point me in the correct direction.

    Phew…..

    Thanks for your help…

    Mark 😀

Dunno :con: When you load them do they sit clear of the top spray arm?

Yes for most companies that specialise in customer service. Do please contact you local independant store for expert advice.( No I don’t mean Currys & Comet)

    3. Can I raise the top basket

yes, if it’s not in the top position already. Should be 2 plastic stoppers on the top basket runners – pull top basket forward, slide the stoppers outwards & pull the basket right out, it should have 2 sets of wheels on each side of basket just pull out & slot back using the upper set. Down side is if you have tall glasses they probably wont fit now!

As far as removing / installing goes – really depends on who stuck it in there in the first place – especially if it’s built in!
