Zanussi ZT 685 draining problem ..

Zanussi ZT 685 dishwasher is giving me a bit of grief …
select any programme and the machine fills fine , washes but will leave a few litres of water in the bottom and flash the `not empty` fault . No blockages but it seemed to empty slowly and in pulses without much pressure . I changed the circulation / drain motor which came with a new impellor but still the same ….
would be grateful for any info if anyone has anything similar .

usually just get blocked in the sump under the filters, you can just get your fingers in around. but you may have already tried that.

Reversing motor – drain impellor will be stripped.

Thanks for the answers . Penguin chris – New motor had an impellor fitted , checked it was tight and installed with the motor so hopefully ruled out that one . bzz667 i Had a grope around and all seemed clear in the filter area but i`ll try getting a really good look . i`m due around again next week so we`ll see …
