zanussi zt 695 dishwasher

i have a problem with this dishwasher when i press the on off button the on light comes on but i cannot select a program, when i press a program button there is no program light coming on so it wont start, tried pressing various combinations of buttons but no reset,
any help truly gratefull

have looked for any broken wires in the harness, down by the door base and into cabinet. common fault, and are you getting power to the programmer. all i can suggest for moment.

not yet it was late the machine was badly integrated and the pug was in behind the dishwasher but i will certainly check the wires thanks for the reply.
