Am having problems identifying timer on 91488001001. The timer is the Hybrid 513214 with blown tracks. Could anybody tell me the lux part number as i have ended up with the wrong one before.

    Regards

Hiya mate, apparently an obsolete part. I would use replacement timer mod (as per connections disk) electrolux DST1240805000. £132ish I belive. Hope this helps.

EMW may be able to help here. It may Depend to what extent the tracks are blown.

    Re: Zanussi ZT102 timer blown

    I’ve got a 513214 emw supplied timer (£25 +post).
Bought apr2004 . Did not cure fault (a very odd fault bit like the modern timer clicking through prog. fault!) EMW got me testing this and that (“try another motor” etc.) and I gave up thinking “they don’t want to take the timer back but I’ll probably use it sooner rather than later”
I’ll supply it on sale or return basis and you can pay only when you’re happy it’s OK.

PS Printing on label partly rubbed off but can read 124 7526 02

    Re: Zanussi ZT102 timer blown

The Zanussi 513214 and 513234 timers are demons for corrupting the main 28pin Motorola microcontroller. Thankfully when we replace this chip, we PREVENT this possibility in the future as we write-protect it. In fact, we have never had a 513214 or 513234 back with a corrupted chip. However, do remember that the reason these chips get corrupted in the first place is often due to a motor fault. When the engineer re-fits the timer, 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time everything is OK. Sometimes, the timer will not function as the motor has a permanent fault. We even print this on our label. In these circumstances just contact us and we will be happy to take the timer back into stock for a mere £4 handling charge. So when the customer sais ‘take the thing away’ after you have spent money with us having the timer repaired, just send it back and all you will lose is £4 + vat handling charge. Re: Zanussi ZT102 timer blown

Ah timer fitted is 513234 not 214 😳 fitted it anyway to see if appliance works and it does. Is the only difference that the on/off pull push knob is not on the 234 where it is on the 214? Or will it not work?
