Didn’t have a lot of time to look at this today, I was actually repairing the washer. Apparently machine has hardly been used and due to ill health has been stood for almost 12 months.

I managed to get it to start filling (but only once) not sure if it filled to correct level but no circulation action. It will drain and advance to end of cycle. Did a quick check on Circ pump, appears fine, not siezed in anyway. Capacitor is holding a charge. As the thing is integrated I had used up a lot of my valuble time getting the darned thing out. It now doesn’t want to fill although the valve appears to be energised. The blue tubes appear perfectly clear but I had to leave for my next job. I am returning tomorrow, any pointers???

the older models with the syphon tubes did suffer badly, and if left to dry it would fill once, so I think you are going in the right direction. Take the syphon tubes out, if water runs out of them this is a sign the sumps blocked. Try poring boiling water into the syphon chamber, to soften any crap, the remove the water with something like a syringe or suck it out with some pressure hose (try not to suck too hard) Check pink and white hose from the underside of the sump are these full of water, attatch a piece of hose to the summp and blow down it.
    hope this helps

Thanks for that, when you say older models this customer seems to be under the impression that it is not that old but I guess they could be mistaken.

It’s a “blue tubes” machine Jim. Check this:

I knew I had seen that somewhere Chris, was going to have a look for it after my tea, just put it in the oven, a large rainbow trout, in white wine with capers. This hospital visiting plays havoc with my schedule.

    Thanks.

this model was first produced in 1994. the serial no. will tell you the year and week of manufacture i.e. 9401 would be week 1 year 1994. after 2000 they dropped the first 0 in the year so week 1 of 2001 would be 101
hope this helps. by the way you said the circ pump was ok , these had a habit of sticking with unuse, does the impellor turn freely?

Serial No is 60400016, circulation pump is fine, no resistance to turning manually. In fact I am certain that the circulation pump is actually running for a short period before it stops altogether.
