    Hi machine was giving a error code 40 after a while during was. But when I pressed start/pause and skip buttons together it gives e41,The machine went through a wash later today,But when Iwent to do another wash its coming up with a error code A11 any ideas , :rolls:

    E41 a door lock error, E11 a fill problem. I would ignore both and instead suspect the dryer element has an earth leak causing these random unassociated errors.

    Hi Martin how do you test it for a earth leak can you use a multimeter cheers,

    You need a 500dcV Insulation Tester as a basic requirement for earth leakage testing.

    HI Martin i couldnt get my hands on a insulation tester,but when i opened up top off machine the heater is disconnected

    Check out the E40 error now then : The door lock.

    Hmmmm? OK then check out the water heater for same insulation issues as the dryer heater. Except disconnecting the leads will show an E60 error or some such IIRC? It needs meter testing.
