ParticipantHi got this machine no power getting to the dryer elements ,tested the stats all ok so could it be the square conrtol board just behind the fascia as the wires to the elements come from this board ?

Not sure of the model, PNC would help. If its a ZWD16270 there is a dryer pcb, check communication cable & connectors between both & dryer heater resistance to earth first.

379 26 33-00/4 pcb assembly drying £41.70 direct from lux.co.uk
Not saying that’s what’s wrong though.

Entering into the diagnostics programme can be an effective way of sussing out what’s wrong in this case. I suspect you may not have ventured this simple procedure though?
If you send me your email address request (mine is listed below by the way) I can send you full details. 😉

Did you try doing a search? There’s quite a lot comes up in response to “Zanussi AND drying” select: trade tech enq. only.
Here’s just one, zanussi not drying

ok went back today and sure enough one of the wires on the ntc had pulled off. Bad bit is after putting a new plug on the end and testing the ntc it still diddent work 😥

Continuity from lower ntc to board terminal? Sure it didn’t pull out again when you lifted machine back?
Using original board or new one or tried both?
Seems unlikely there’s a second fault when the “obvious” one was so clear.
However, would be worth doing another search of the forums. Water valve coil is a favourite to fail. There’s a hint in there of pressure switch problems too. Also what about diagnostics, as Martin suggested.
