The machine pumps out for a few seconds, then starts to fill for a few seconds on all wash programmes. It then stops dead and unlocks the door? There is no fault code, and I have checked the pump for debris, and the brushes are in almost brand new condition. I can’t see anything obviously wrong. The fault has been occurring on and off for a few weeks, but has always corrected itself up until now. Intermittent faults! When I set the dryer working, it works perfectly. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Steve.

Have you meggered the dryer heater as these throw up some strange faults on these, I normally disconnect the wires and then test machine. Can you get into diagnostics ?

Thank you Criscold. Damn! I can’t believe I didn’t check that as I have come across it before. I’ll put it down to a mental block lol. I’ll check it out and let you know. I can get into diagnostics, but the display is all over the place. That would tie in with a faulty dryer heater. Thank again. Steve.

If it isn’t that, I’d megger the motor on its own or disconnect it and try. It sounds like it stops at the moment when the motor kicks in.
What happens when you try it on spin?
    Mike.
