Zanussi ZWD12270W Not starting

When the start button is pressed the door locks and then the machine refuses to do anything else.
Cancel the program and the door unlocks.
There was an earth fault in the dryer element so disconnected and tried again but the situation didn’t improve.
There are no other earth faults, resistance through the motor checks out OK as does the drain pump and inlet valves.
I have tried a new door interlock with the dryer element still disconnected but sill no luck, did notice the old interlock gets quite hot..

I am assuming this is going to be a module problem, can anyone give any further advise on this for me,

I ‘m thinking you can’t even access diagnostics, or can you?

I’m not sure on this one. I couldn’t find a way of doing it.

hold start/pause plus nearest option button whilst turning machine on 1 place clockwise then when in diagnostics read alarm from position 10 of selector
