Zanussi ZWD12270W1 washer dryer shows ED1 fault code??

Hi There can any of you Zanussi experts throw any light on this machine. The fault is that it sits there pumping out for about 10 seconds then goes to pause and wont do anything else. Running the on-board diagnostics shows ED1 on the display. I cant find any reference to this code. Would appreciate some guidance to solve this isse as we are not too familiar with this model. Thanks

ED1—Wiring faulty between pcb and wd board.Or faulty wd or pcb.

fault is listed as
wiring fault between PCB and WD board, WD board faulty, PCB faulty

i assume they mean the main pcb and the dryer pcb but the info is a bit wooly

time to pull all multiconnections off and put them back to see if its a bad connection

check insulation on drier element, can give you ed1 if its down

Thanks for the information chaps. Problem now solved. We replaced the relay board that switches the dryer element and all is well. The dryer element does not seem to have an earth leak. The relay board is available from connection part number 5045174493024 at a reasonable price of £35 + vat hope that may help somebody else in the future.
