good afternoon all .
hope you can help me with this one. you program the m/c but after 2/3 mins the start /pause light flashes and the m/c reverts back to the start time on the display.after running through the diognostic program I get E36 comes up I have fitted a new pcb but still get the same fault. E36 is (sensing -circuit of anti-boiling pressure switch 1 fault what ever that is?)

Anti-boiling pressure switch sounds like it might mean that the machine “thinks” there is no water in it and is therefore in danger of overheating. ❓ Have you checked for blocked p/switch bulb?

thanks mike . have checked all pressure pipes and switches. my main concern is the fact that the m/c only runs for 2/3 min befor it flashes and goes back to the start of program .

Hmm. Perplexing. Does the drum turn at all? What about the recirculation pump? It should cut in pretty early as far as I remember. I would also strongly suspect the connections to the p/switches. Have you unplugged them and given them a squeeze? I know they’re virtually impossible to get at on those crowded washer dryers. :rolls:

Look for a blocked condenser or its bottom hose. I had a ZWD that was giving spurious fault codes related to the pressure switches. The blockage in the condenser allowed the machine to fill for a few moments but then as the jetsystem pump started, it slowly began to fill the condenser as the water could not escape fast enough in to the tub past the blockage. The analogic pressure switch sensed the drop in the level of water in the tub and the PCB faulted. It also affected the drier.

For reference, the analogic pressure switch is the small black one near the PCB. It has a large cross on the top resembling a philips screw head. Do not blow into an analogic pressure switch as it will damage it. It is a very sensitive device. The anti – boiling switch is the large pressure switch mounted under the centre frame rail. It is a regular pressure switch with 2 levels IIRC.
