1st fault e12 – triple valve dryer coil o/c
changed valve – dryer worked a treat , got a call back washing side now faulty ..
e36 anti boil pres switch – pcb ? appliance would start – fill go for about 1 minute and then start led would flash as if appliance was paused ..
switch of -on and would do the same – as above
didnt have the anti boil switch – so changed what i had pcb …
still same prob .. ie start fill wash for a min and then start led flash ..
anyone had this ??
im going back with anti boil pres swi ..

Not me but most E3? errors on these turn out to be water heater earth leak, at least that’s what I’ve found anyway. HTH?

Go straight for the heater. Common fault on the Zanussi washer dryers with an E36. I’m betting it’s the dryer element that has the earth leak. Just disconnect this element and test the unit. Seems to happen to the dryer heater when the customer isn’t using the dryer that often you’ll see rust on the element but not always.

is it just me – but every time i do a simple job on a zanussi it turns into a 2-3 visit head scratcher ?

It’s the ‘Zanussi effect’ Ally, didn’t you notice how thin I was on top? In fact in my case it started when I was a young buck like you! 🙁
