Hello everyone.

I have had a route around and can’t seem to find anything specific for my washer dryer model number. However I believe the problem is with my inlet valve?

I get the E10 error code whenever I try to run wash or dry cycles. I have taken the lid of and its a triple valve as far as I can tell.

SN: 54700038

There are numbers on the actual inlet valve itself not sure if they’re useful or not.

Will replacing this valve definitely fix my issue? And is there any way to fully reset the washing machine so the chip doesn’t get confused and still give me the fault or is that not an issue?

Also, while I’m inside the machine is there a way to rip out the device that makes the horrible noise when its done? :eeek: :eeek:

you are seeing the customer error code and there is actually

there is E11 too long to fill can be slow fill rate or water is going out the outlet hose as its filling and machine times out

E12 water difficulties on the drying cycles

E13 water leakage global time out. fill takes too long

yes the fill valve is one of a number faults this could be including blocked valve filter, tap not fully turned on etc

So as that part you suggested is only £16, its worthwhile just trying it out? Is there anything I should be aware of when replacing it? What do you suggest if the valve isn’t the problem?

before you change it

check the tap make sure its full on and working. a lot of quarter turn taps seem like they are on but they are only on half way due to wear in the plastic knob. check the outlet hose. check when machine is filling that no water is coming out the outlet hose.
take the inlet hose off the back of the washer and there is a filter on the entrance to the valve check its not clogged

replacing valve should not be a problem as long as all the connections and wires are in the correct place. take pictures before you start
